His right bollock fell out and just hung there all night.

Oh mega lol, how did you not say anything??

AHedgehogCanNeverBeBuggered · 24/05/2017 13:50

paddy you need to grow a pair (ask Kropla's guest for a loan?) and kick her out! WHY would you let someone so rude take advantage of you for so long??

paddypants13 · 24/05/2017 15:42

@IrrationalRage - Yep that was me! Boyfriend was lovely actually, he left earlier today.

@AHedgehogCanNeverBeBuggered it's not as simple as that, if it was she'd be long gone.

KroplaBeskidu · 24/05/2017 16:26

I have no idea how I kept a straight face and didn't say anything. At first I was just amazed that it'd even happened then I was just calcified by awkwardness and embarrassment and I knew if I said anything I'd just burst out laughing. I didn't really know this guy.

As I said, weirdest bollocks I've ever seen

bbcessex · 24/05/2017 16:26

sikkpyjamas... I just don't know how someone could be so rude... was she a student?

kropka 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 were you not tempted just to tell him!?

HemlockStarglimmer · 24/05/2017 16:49

I'm reminded of the time when one of my (long ex) boyfriend's bollocks emerged from his shorts while we were outside with a group eating lunch.
I was doing frantic eye signals to get him to notice. He was in a mardy mood and snapped snootily "If you want to say something, just say it". So I did 😂.

Sorry to go off track. As you were.

We rent out a room through Airbnb and thankfully no horror stories (yet).

IrrationalRage · 24/05/2017 16:59

@HemlockStarglimmer hahahaha I hope he was mortified! 😂😂😂

MmeBoulaye · 24/05/2017 18:36

paddypants13 You have to evict her else you'll go crazy!!! Who is she, i.e. Why are you having to put up with this predicament?

paddypants13 · 24/05/2017 19:30

@MmeBoulaye she's a distant relative and she's doing a placement as part of her English teaching course. She has paid us a (nominal) rent and we can't afford to refund her. I would end up looking like the bad guy and loads of my family would fall out with me. Dh initially thought I was overreacting but even he's sick of her now. If I just suck it up for now I can avoid her and NEVER EVER let her in my house again.

MmeBoulaye · 24/05/2017 20:25

Best of luck, paddypants13. It's a shame that having relatives to stay can cause bad relations. As per my post a couple of days ago!

scruffmacduff · 24/05/2017 20:41

I had a friend and her new husband arrive to stay. I had spent quite some time making the guest room look lovely, brand new bed linen, scented candle, tray of goodies, fresh flowers - the works!
They arrived, I held out my hand as I'd never met him before and the cheeky bugger pushed past me, went upstairs, removed all the bedding from the bed and chucked it out in a massive pile in my hallway. Proceeded to cart in their own smelly bedding, removed all my nice things from the room.
He brought all his own food with him as he didn't like eating other people's cooking, insisted we got take away one night which I paid for and he then didn't eat, ate all the snacks I had put in their room and then complained that I had made him ill Hmm and literally sat in front of my tv (cross legged on the floor!!) and hogged the remote for the entire visit. Every time I tried to make chit chat it was met with 'oh I hate that' etc
They left the bedroom in an awful mess, curtains shut and room stinking, the husband didn't wash at all the 4 days they were here and they hadn't opened the window at all Confused
It was bloody awful and I've never invited them back. Don't think I could cope with the stress Grin

BrrrrrrWentTheAlarmClock · 24/05/2017 21:27

A good uni friend and her boyfriend stayed at our 1 bed flat for a mutual friend wedding. They slept in the living room which lead to the kitchen. They were still asleep late morning, so I went through the living room to the kitchen to make a coffee.. to be met by a kitchen sink full of vomit. Grim. She was very blasé about it!

Same friend, few years later contacted me saying her and 2/3 colleagues were coming to a meeting near me, and could they stay the night. I'd never met the colleagues and the night in question was my birthday. I said no!

goldopals · 24/05/2017 21:49

@IHeartDodo

Water going every where ducks, but I think it is a bit rough to criticise someone for not using a shower curtain in a shower/bath. Not everyone has one. Maybe she is used to a separate shower which has a glass door or a plain bath

bbcessex · 25/05/2017 07:41

brrrr sink full of vomit.... 😱

Not surprised you said no to latest request.

paddy hope this gives you enough family-hosting points to last forever... good luck!

IheartDodo · 25/05/2017 09:01

goldopals yes I know she didn't mean to, but it was extremely stressful and the water was filthy (old house), do I had to wash the walls!
She didn't actually apologise though!

paddypants13 · 25/05/2017 14:00

@bbcessex Only family staying from now on will be my dparents, dfil, dsil with dbil and dnephew. Every one else can do one!!!

@BrrrrrrWentTheAlarmClock we had a similar situation with a cousin of mine. She got drunk and when I go up to see to dd I heard her vomiting in my kitchen sink. I went down, handed her the disinfectant and kitchen tissue, told her to clean it up and went back to bed. Said cousin had also kept me up until the early hours with her drunken ramblings... Poor dh marrying into my family!

catsb4twats · 25/05/2017 14:42

Had a situation in uni where I had come back to my halls flat with a friend after a night out. It was end of term so everyone had moved out and I was the only one left - I slept in one of the spare rooms and gave my friend my bed. In the morning I come in to my friend bundling up all the bedding and sheepishly saying she had been sick in the night..... only the smell said otherwise! 😷😷😷 one quick trip to the wheelie bin and we never spoke of it again 😬

Toadinthehole · 26/05/2017 10:01

Bump

caoraich · 26/05/2017 11:20

I have an old uni friend who was fun but a bit annoying then and is now just annoying.

She came to stay with us very last minute but I dashed around making the spare room nice. We had just got two new kittens at the time, 9weeks old. She stood on both of them "by accident", smacked one in the face when he approached her to sniff and then in the kitchen one kitten had managed to climb up a chair onto a high worktop. I said "oh no, not allowed up there!" And went to gently put kitten on the ground when she swept in, lifted kitten up to her head height, dropped him and yelled "NO!!" Before booting his bum. Poor kitty limped away and my DP told her to pack and chucked her out there and then. When I went to clean out the bedroom it was filthy after 36hrs. Crusty knickers under the pillow, fag ends (I had no idea she'd taken up smoking) and a used unwrapped tampon in the bedroom bin.

She still periodically asks to stay when she's up here! We are always too busy. Though the cats are now enormous bruisers and I'd quite like to set them on her....

QuestionARhino · 26/05/2017 11:29

@caoraich omfg that's awful, what a vile person.

ThouShallNotPass · 26/05/2017 11:34

@caoraich I would have been furious at the animal abuse! I would have wanted to scream at her and throw her out by her hair! And I'm not even a crazy cat lady!

MissionItsPossible · 26/05/2017 11:46

caoraich Are you KIDDING me? I would have punched her straight in the face if she did that to any of my pets

Kit30 · 26/05/2017 12:10

Old friend of husband and fiancée. Turned out she was allergic - to wheat, dairy, milk, feathers ( pillows/ duvet), animals, children, the kitchen wall colour.....She sprayed everything with her own anti bacterial stuff including freshly laundered sheets. Asked how long it was since we vacuumed ( that morning) and generally behaved like a very special snowflake.
They got married. Two years later all her allergies had mysteriously gone and they have the dirtiest ( and I mean dirtiest) house its ever been my pleasure to leave. Weird.

bbcessex · 26/05/2017 12:34

I can't believe the audacity of some people.. or the cruelty in the case of hideous Kitten hurter Shock

My only real problems have been with family acting as hotel guests.. seems I got off lightly.

I did have a friend tell me recently of her old school friend who'd come to stay for just the one night.. they hadn't seen each other for a good few years but kept in regular touch..

my friend made a lovely meal and bought lots of fizz etc for a good catch up, but school friend wolfed down meal then pleaded exhaustion and went to bed..

My friend was then treated to school friend posting on Old School Facebook page and reminiscing with others into the early hours!
