To think Vogue WIlliams should be invited to Pippa's wedding and feel for Spencer ?

This hoopla / wedding/ media circus has reportedly 300 guests tomorrow. The reason meghan markle is now invited is because Pippa wants to be invited to Harry 's day if there is one-just my tuppence. Spencer is her brother in law to be fgs . To say Vogue is media obsessed is pot calling kettle ( just surmising the reason for it ) also according to the media donna air as james middletons girlfriend will be there
id say with the carry on with this wedding luxury throne loos etc mrs matthews must be shivering in her shoes as to the daughter in law she is getting . Pippa is being portrayed as a right princess but its the Matthews who are seriously wealthy. Talk about pippa landing on her feet. How are the Middletons so well off now when neither of the parents came from Wealth?. Kate and pippa have really made good.

Hey LadyCassandra the groom looks like my cousin. With our connrctions I'm shocked neither of us was invited - if at least to the evening do

BoysofMelody · 21/05/2017 10:44

Kate was "in charge" of the kids for five minutes max. There are pics where you can see the nanny took the Cambridge kids

And in that five minutes her child wrangling managed to look about as effective as a marzipan dildo.

The nanny would have ruined the pictures

True. Those shoes!!

Puzzledandpissedoff · 21/05/2017 11:19

It would have been nice if Wills could have been on hand for child-wrangling as well

Maybe - but from the way he arrived and left with Harry rather than Kate, it does look rather as if she "went back to being a Middleton" for the actual wedding

Which I think was quite nice ...

QueenoftheAndals · 21/05/2017 11:55

The nanny would have ruined the pictures

The Norland uniform is certainly hideously dated.

Redcrayons · 21/05/2017 11:59

Grin at the pic of Kate telling George off. We've all been there!

MrsPeelyWaly · 21/05/2017 12:36

I think it would have been far better if Kate had not had a public role on the day. She looked extremely self conscious, not just frazzled, and I think the Nannies would have made a better job of getting the children sorted. Making sure the dress was ok before Pippa set down off down the aisle would have been enough.

MrsPeelyWaly · 21/05/2017 12:42

The nanny would have ruined the pictures and given the impression that Kate can't cope with her own children. This was all carefully stage-managed

I dont think it was stage managed. She was being a sister yesterday and doing what other women were doing the length of the country. Its just a shame she looked so self conscious as well as frazzled.

Cel982 · 21/05/2017 12:47

I thought it was nice, she was clearly fulfilling the chief bridesmaid/matron of honour role without the extra hoopla of that being her official designation. I don't think she looked particularly frazzled. The shot of her and Charlotte seeing Pippa arrive is lovely.

CruCru · 21/05/2017 16:37

To be fair, she can't exactly do what I usually do and shout "Will you just BEHAVE?!?!"

There are photos of me telling my children off at my brother's wedding. She did fine.

HelsinkiLights · 21/05/2017 17:04

You're right Cru Kate does the whisper through clenched teeth "Now will you behave or Maria is taking you home & you will be going to bed!"

Abra1d · 21/05/2017 17:40

No doubt Maria would have sorted out the v-sign page boy had she been in the proximity.

hollyisalovelyname · 21/05/2017 18:35

I'm still wondering who that boy is. He and his parents will never live it down. Smile

thatdearoctopus · 21/05/2017 21:29

I don't think it was stage managed.

Of course it was! Can you imagine the slating she would have got in the media, if she'd been wafting around chatting to people in the churchyard whilst the hired help dealt with the children and got in all the photos?

2rebecca · 21/05/2017 21:36

Sounds like some people spend too much time reading Hello. No idea who Vogue Williams is or Spencer ? Earl Spencer Lady Di's brother. Really surprised anyone not in their circle gives a monkeys. I just heard they were having portaloos which I thought was funny as I associate them with sporting events and large queues. Posh people in fancy frocks queueing for the portaloo would make good tabloid pics.

fedupofcataloguescomingthrough · 21/05/2017 21:37

Who and who?

JaneEyre70 · 21/05/2017 21:41

It's Meghan Markle I feel sorry for............flying across the atlantic and going to a spa to be an evening guest. The shame Blush.

TheLegendOfBeans · 21/05/2017 21:44

I don't know why folk come on this thread to sneer that they are in some way above this tittle-tattle.

It's a big fat society wedding with the twin joys of Royals + Reality Stars. Some of is bloody love it.

Coming on to crow isn't really in the fun spirit of the thread.

feeona123 · 21/05/2017 22:06

Aww I was so gutted I had to go to the races and have a day out!! Grin

I would've loved to drag hubby along to see the wedding...I'm sure he would've said no though!

Loved Pippa's dress, think it was better than Kate's!

Not keen on Kate's outfit and Carole was very plain!

Anyone else think it's very off to invite Uncle Gary and niece but not the wife and only to the church?!? How to cause a family feud!!!

pallasathena · 21/05/2017 22:19

Meanwhile, in Syria.....

UrsulaPandress · 21/05/2017 22:24

Are you in Syria?

Brogadaccio · 21/05/2017 22:29

no pictures of Meghan. A miracle!

BaggyCheeks · 21/05/2017 22:30

Ursula you're forgetting - making idle chit chat about sleb twaddle means that you're incapable of caring about serious world issues. Pallasathena is obviously just reminding us that it exists, because otherwise we'd have all forgotten.

UrsulaPandress · 21/05/2017 22:39

I can see her virtue signalling from my back passage.
