Apparently, his wish may be that his ashes to be scattered on Saddleworth Moor. He should not have the final laugh at the victims, their families and all the people who were appalled at his despicable crimes. Saddleworth Moor must not be tainted by him any further.

His lawyer is the executor of his Will so presumably he has responsibility for what happens to them.

Whilst the coroner has no legal powers to prevent it happening, fair play to him for refusing to release the body without assurances.

Yet another thread giving him publicity? Another thread which will elicit the same responses as all the previous ones?

If it is not happening - hooray. But "inquest hears" from this BBC link does not mean anything. I understand from the SkyNews on right now that the lawyer is not happy that the coroner gets involved in the deciding how a person can be burried. I looks like nothing is decided yet.

I would keep them locked in his cell and then never to be moved and no-one to be moved into his cell. Just so he can never escape his prison and gain freedom of any kind.

"Inquest hears" does not mean anything more than someone has actually voiced it during inquest. It is not the conclusion.

I do feel they should have cremated and disposed of his ashes before releasing news of his death, just flushed them then told the public.. it may have stopped all this publicity from the news vultures. If the media really cared they would have just mentioned the killer of those poor children was dead and be done with it.
