Should I ask why this guy is mad at me?

We have a group project in uni, and during a Skype discussion, I raised a point that was contrary to what this other guy was saying. My other groupmates agreed with me, and the guy basically became silent the remainder of the meeting.

I thought nothing of it, and then this afternoon, during another meeting (face-to-face) he was throwing major shade at me.

I can only trace it back to me contradicting him because I don't have any other contact with him other than at school.

Do I ask him why he's mad at me? Would you?

You did nothing wrong OP, carry on as you are. Do not alter how you act or what you say because of him, it's 2017, he's going to have to get used to women being right and shock horror other men agreeing with her!

He's annoyed because you made him look wrong, and some people can't deal with being wrong, especially in public.

He'll either get over it or die mad, there is nothing further you need to do, except feel profoundly sorry for whoever ends up working with him 37.5 hours a week, as it is highly likely he is going to be 'wrong' quite a bit (as we all are) when starting out in a new career.

He seems very immature! :( And this is a guy who's also a mature age student like me -- had a different career before this.
