His little shirt

DH picked a shirt from my Next catalogue and I went to pick it up for him. He was at work. So I sent him a picture and said I'd picked up his little shirt (it was for a night out). His mate saw the message and laughed at him and later on sent him a photo of the shirt we was wearing for the night out and said "here is my little tattoo showing shirt".

DH says I've made him a laughing stock but the Dawn doctor often picks up clothes etc for her DH and he doesn't react like this.

Yes the Sadie nurse is someone I work with now and again. I was just using that as an example of how people associate strangers with people they know.

Associating strangers with people you know - an interesting way of remembering faces.

Posting on a public forum about the Dawn Doctor and Sadie Nurse, and expecting people not to be utterly confused - very very weird.

Someone I work with. I used to call him the Dom Jolly nurse but I work too closely with him now so use his proper name a lot - hence why I don't need to call him anything else.

No it didn't shrink, it was brand new.

Look I realise this whole thing has come across like a joke and it wasn't intended that way. I have a chest infection, raging temp and am finding it difficult to explain properly but the jist of it was just about the texts. The rest was irrelevant and I shouldn't have mentioned it. Thanks for the replies (even the daft ones as some are very funny)

The Sadie nurse IS a nurse but actual Sadie isn't. She works for environmental health

oh, I don't associate strangers with people who i know generally although ex colleague Gloria = Gloria Gaynor = I will survive, but then she knew that.
