If I complain about this bus driver will I come back to my car being keyed?

We live in a road which can just about get a bus down it. However when I have to put two young dds into the car in the morning (one either side of the car), I have to be in the road to put one girl in. Most buses slow down if I have my door open (not widely) or they wait. I am pretty quick though, maybe 20 seconds.
One bus driver - same one and have noted his reg plate - always beeps at me and makes gestures at me.
I am fed up of this and the horn beeping sets off my younger dd and makes me jump
I have no choice but to put them in like this as we do not have a driveway. I want to complain to TFL (Transport for London) but is there a chance that said driver will seek his revenge?
We hope to get a driveway done once we have saved enough money but they are £££££.

We have a small car & two resurfacing seats. You could be a size 6, you would still need to put one child in roadside. This is true for lots of families I know. I've never heard anyone say it was unsafe. Surely it's only unsafe (assuming you don't swing your door & supervise your child) if other drivers of vehicles behave stupidly, as is clearly the case here.

When the grandmother was hit at our school the police cordoned off the road so my car was trapped. The police officer said they go to loads of accidents like this. Why take the risk? I had two under two years old and live on a similar road to you. I used to push my front seats forward and do it like that.

I also wouldn't hold people up by doing it.

When I am putting my daughter in on roadside, if a large vehicle is about to pass I shut the door and step aside. Then open the door and carry one when they have passed.

I wouldn't expect a bus to sit there while I faffed about trying to get the kid to sit still, strap in, check the straps are tight enough etc.

If he is having to stop often for you I see why he is getting annoyed, but he shouldn't be rude especially as he is working for a company who probably wouldn't be too pleased about his attitude.

Yes, it is only unsafe if other drivers behave stupidly. Which clearly they do, all the time.

It doesn't make it right, but other drivers put you at risk if you are in the road.

You've noted the reg plate? Do you think each driver has their own individual buses they keep?

I face the same issues, no kerb outside the house and the house was built pre-car so a very narrow road. I have to park the car up against the house so no room to get small boy in and out it has to be on the road. Although no buses come down cars often do and I try to tuck in but bigger cars cannot pass. I think tough to be honest I live here too so they have to weight he 20 seconds it takes to strap him in. Sod the bus driver, complain away.

Don't be dense @user1493022461

The bus company will be able to find out who was driving if they know the bus reg and an approximate time/ route.
