DH is away with work this weekend, it's a good opportunity for him and he wanted to go. We had been invited to a charity event and we decided that as he was away, I would go on my own with friends. It wasn't a 'couples' thing, just a mixture of people with a common interest in the charity.
A friend put some photographs of the event on Facebook today and my friend's sister commented on them with a 'you all look like you had a great time, was Mr Pig not there?' She knew he wasn't going as I saw her a couple of weeks ago and mentioned it then. The next comment from her was 'Well done you, I don't think I could enjoy myself on a night out if I new my other half was working and I was on a jolly. Love that you can, I would just feel so guilty'.
It's really pissed me right off, but I may be hungover and sensitive!
