This is Biscuit. He'll be ready in a few weeks. Our current girl Cookie purrs like a tractor at his photos and was super excited when I brought her toy kitten home smelling like him.

We have two from the same litter, always been together and always falling out and making up. Pair of them are spoilt rotten.

LuluJakey1 · 02/05/2017 21:58

Here they are 😉

Good grief, GinliKitten is too, too adorable. What a very, very serious kitten that is.

My cats are brothers and alternate between avoid each other and fighting, with the occasional outburst of being Highly Suspect.

I'd like to point out I couldn't make the bed because the cats were sleeping 😌

So many beautiful cats on here! Love kitty threads, biscuit is adorable.

TheCatOfAthenry · 15/05/2017 22:09

To update, they've been playing together all evening and she's maternally licking his bottom!

Bloody adorable op now I am broody for another kitten! Sad

Ev1lEdna · 22/05/2017 09:49

I love this thread. So many gorgeous cats everyone.

OP I am jealous, I'd love a kitten but I'm not sure my girl would respond in a maternal fashion like yours. She was used to breed kittens for cash (she's not even a pedigree) and had far too many litters for her age. I fear she may be over kittens. I'd even love another adult cat but I'm scared it would upset her. Ah well. I want my girl to be happy.

Anyway congratulations to you and your gorgeous cat and I hope she and the kitten get on great when it arrives.

ZebraOwl · 22/05/2017 10:03

The Zebra Cats are littermate half-brothers: black!cat had such impressive ghost stripes as a wee kitten the vet thought he might turn a bit tabby as he grew, but as you can see, he's gone for the Black As Blackest Night look instead.

I hope Cookie & Dr Biscuit (what did you settle on as a name in the end...?) settle down happily together - that basket picture looked as if they might have a promising snugglebundle going 🐱

This is our cat that used to live next door but adopted us. Our other cat wasn't exactly thrilled but they sort of grudgingly tolerate each other like 2 grumpy old men.

I'm intrigued, Zebra - if yours are littermates, how did you find out they were only half-brothers?

Stilllivinginazoo · 22/05/2017 10:16

Utterly gorgeous photos.lovely to see so many multi cat housemates getting along!!

ZebraOwl · 22/05/2017 13:01

Lancelottie

You mean you missed the episode of the Jeremy Kyle Show with my cats Wink

TBH I've no definite proof, but it's what I've been told by the cats' vet - the litter was 3 jet-black kittens, then 2 marmalade & one blond (who matured into the strawberry-blond House Liger pictured), which the vet thinks is more likely to have been two concurrent litters of 3 than one of 6. Especially knowing the local Toms. They have different facial characteristics & tail lengths & things as well as the different colouring, so it's quite easy to believe they're half brothers. My little blond!cat also seems to have an inherited kidney condition which thankfully black!cat is untroubled by.

Booboostwo · 22/05/2017 14:18

Princess and The Knight (do not let your 3 yo name the kittens) were inseparable siblings but sadly The Knight passed away. Princess was then joined by brothers Spot and Bolt. And a short while later adult Kotu joined everyone else.

Zebra, I was wondering, because it's what we were told was likely with our cat (teeny fluffy grey sibling to four massive sleek black bruisers).

ZebraOwl · 22/05/2017 19:51

Lancelottie
AFAIK it's not that uncommon for cats to carry multiple litters at once. I feel v sorry for my cats' mother - apparently she'd had several litters but owners saw no reason/CBA to get her spayed (I got them from son of neighbour of owner, cat having given birth in elderly man's loft, owner worked on a Your Loft, Your Kittens basis...)

TheCatOfAthenry · 03/10/2017 12:12

Months later and Cookie and Biscuit are still buds.

We also have 3 fosters: Eminem, Dr. Dre and Duck.

I think I have a problem. Grin
