Wayfaring lots of different sources on the Internet quote the American Animal Humane Society saying that the video of the GDS was edited intentionally to deceive.

Presumably you removed her from the cinema when she began crying her eyes out, at the boy starting a fire and the kidnapping?

Certifications are given with a broader audience in mind.

They can't cater for every individual child's reactions.

I watched this at home with my 5 and 7 year olds. The kidnapping was so quick, you could barely get involved in the story line, it was more about the bravery of the dog.

I thought it was going to be really cheesey and rubbish, but I cried every time a dog died. Kids enjoyed it! (The film, not me crying, they thought that was hilarious)

Wouldn't watch this if I was paid to. The one of the dogs at least was abused. There's video proof of it.

By that I mean during filming.

Check out the website common sense media - it's brilliant for stuff like this. Reviews from parents and kids that tell you what the main triggers might be.
