AIBU to think I'm the only person who can see a shit stain in this house?

Honestly I am the only person who walks into a toilet sees a shit stain down the pan and deals with it. I am also the only person who shits, flushes (with the lid down) and then checks to make sure all is well.

AIBU to think this is just normal adult behaviour? You poo and you check, no? Or are you all just taking a dump, flushing and walking, leaving it for the next visitor to see what youve left behind?

Brings back delightful memories of toilet training our boys in a house with shelf toilets. The kids couldn't make it flush properly, I hated that house!!

Mine is a counsel of perfection, admittedly. Our boys had no SN issues so perhaps matters were more straightforward for us. I just think that if the message is repeated over and over again, it re-enters the conscious mind at crucial moments. I can still hear my mum say certain things at particular moments. For example, if I pick up a teacup without using the handle, a voice inside my head says "That teacup has a handle!" and if I put my foot on a chair to tie my shoelace the voice says "Bend your back!". I have a horror of getting my aim wrong when visiting other people's houses which must also be that sub-conscious voice.
