Been asked by my bridesmaids what sort of thing I'd like to do for my hen party and I just don't have a clue. I'm not even sure I want one - might just go for a few drinks and maybe a meal. Inspiration ladies?!

Hired 2 naked butlers round to my house put a buffet on and had a massive house party!! 20 guests and the butlers really made the night, not just with their naked bottoms but their hosting skills and games!! By far the best night I've ever had X

Ladies day at the races followed by pizza and cheesy night club. Had a giggle and fortunately I bet £10 on the last race at something like 30-1 and it only went & won, so I paid for the pizza and quite a lot of the drinks for the night!

Dinner in local town and then a couple of bars. Just 5 of us.

Ended with me wearing a Barca thong (over my trousers) in a heavy metal bar called Scumm Grin

I was clueless and super disorganised. No big plan.... We ended up doing Cocktails, then McDonalds, then dancing. It was fab!

My best friend organised dinner out and then back to hers for a night cap and coffee. We were a party of about 15. No family, just friends.

I always said for my hen night I wanted to get hammered on pink champagne and vodka (in the same glass, thanks Ad Fab for that), and hire a pink limo and do all the feather boas and veil and stuff.
However, plans changed and I was 4.5 months pregnant when I got married. (We both wanted to try for a baby and I got pregnant. Then it was important for us to be married before the baby come (we had both agreed on getting married, just wasn't officially engaged yet), so we had a 3 month engagement and then got married.
My mum had booked for me and her to go to the theatre for my birthday (which was 9 days before the wedding), and it was all arranged long before we knew I'd be pregnant and getting married the day after. So my birthday night out became my hen night. I literally wore a bride to be sash for the night, that was my hen night.
But it was brilliant.
Of course there will always be a part of me that's a bit sad I will never get the hen night I always said I wanted. But I had my dream wedding and a baby instead. Both of which mean a hell of a lot more

I didn't have one, I had mostly male friends at that stage in my life and no close female relatives, plus I just don't really see the point of them.

The girls at work organised tickets for a murder mystery dinner at a local hotel. A few of us stayed over & used the hotel pool the next morning.

Then the week before my wedding I went out to a local restaurant with my mum, bridesmaid, sister in law & a few friends.

I had a night away in Edinburgh with close family and friends, la tasca dinner then a ghost tour and disco. I also had a big work/friends night out in Shanghai shuffle in Glasgow. It's a Chinese karaoke bar. Everyone came it was fantastic!

Not everyone's thing but I went camping with about 8 mates ( we were lucky with the weather!) Did absailing and kayaking. Went to a lovely country pub for dinner and drinks then sat round the fire roasting marshmallows and telling ghost stories 😁
