is it just me or have you every felt embrassed about farting in front of a new partner/date?
Also I hate going to the toliet for a number 2 in my partners flat or friends toilets etc, if its a really must I put loads of toilet roll down 1st so you can't hear the plop!!

My DH farted the first night we slept together. He told me it meant he was serious about me and couldnt face the thought of the next 20 years with belly ache

Everyone does it.It's a natural bodily thing that can't always be controlled. We were talking about flights the other day and one had left 20 minutes late. I commented 'ah with a good tailwind they'll make that up no problem' and DP replied 'that's why you're always punctual, the bloody tailwind!'

Sorry, and I know I'm going to get slated, but ewwwww - some things should be kept private and 'trumping' amongst other things are one of them. Male or female. Not classy, IMO common. Same goes for belching.

He actually farts on all his friends and kids heads! As do all his friends to him! He finds farts very funny!

Oh Nickie...I wish i could keep it all in. Some of us are naturally windy and to keep it in would mean terrible consequences, pained expression, cramps and God knows what. I will assure you I am a lady in every other respect

Not sure about the farting on the head thing though, Pixie....That's a different realm entirely and a bit scarey

For the first few months I hid my farts, then I got pregnant, had HG and that was the end of all mystery. Head in the loo while you vom everything you have ever eaten in your whole life - trust me farting becomes the least of your worries!

I have been with my OH for 8 years and he was there when I gave birth to our daughter which was not a pretty sight so he has seen it all but the one thing I couldn't do in front of him is sit on the toilet and have a wee.
I just don't feel comfortable, haha

Never used to do it in front of exH. Wouldn't have dreamed of discussing anything poo-related either.
DP held it in around me for abouta month before starting to complain his stomach hurt. He encouraged me to join him in farting whenever the need arises. He thinks it's funny, and congratulates me if I ever manage to do it around him (still shy).
Sometimes he grabs my arm, makes a worried face, and asks me to call a doctor. Then he farts, tells me it's too late, and I should call a priest instead 🙄😂

I totally get not letting rip in public places surrounded by strangers but holding it in around your Dh; the person you are most intimate with in the world? That's just weird to me.
