Polls close at 7pm EDT which is 11pm GMT. If GA operates the way most states do, no results are permitted to be announced until after polls close. So look for that day's returns to start rolling in around Midnight GMT. Early/Absentee voting results may be announced soon after polls close.

Trump won this district by 1% point. Hopefully the Dem voters in that district really get out and vote today. You can be sure the GOP voters will.

I live in PDT (3 hours 'behind' EDT), so hopefully the winner will be announced before bedtime here.

Mavis, when you win, will you appoint me Ambassador to the Court of St James, please? I'm sure you and I can work out a little 'quid pro quo'.

Yes, Ginger. In that seat, though, I can't see him getting over 50% - it's about as solid Republican as you can get.

Apologies if someone has already responded to you, Ginger but as a member of the Lib Dems, I have already been emailed about how a vote for them in June, is a vote to avoid a hard Brexit. I guess it will still happen seeing as Article 50 has been triggered, but they'll work to make it 'better'.

It's really hard as I have never voted for another party (apart from a socialist vote once in some local elections) but following Farron's 'Bomb them All' stance on Syria, I'm struggling. Like Bigly, they won't get in where I live as we're staunch Labour here which means a yellow vote won't mean the Tories stay in.
