I usually talk about current events with 12 year old DS, but not sure I want to worry him about possible nuclear escalation between the US and North Korea. Or a possible war with Russia, which is more worrying as we are in Europe.

I'm waiting for dd to raise the issue.

My children are too small (5 and younger) so don't have to worry about that. But bellicose Russia is one of our considerations when DH and I talk about moving to NZ.
