And when it was?
Have just bought myself a new phone (s7). I havent had a new phone in years and only purchased this one as I dropped mine in the bath and it makes its own mind up about when it will work.
I hardly ever buy anything for myself. Is everyone like this??
Before the phone I got some expensive makeup almost a year ago Smile

A bottle of Dom Perignon last week (celebrating a bonus I got for work! !) but not sure if that counts, as I haven't been able to drink it yet as I have a cold! Boohoo

But before that... last month I bought some lovely black and white brogues by Hobbs (half price on ebay!)

CarrieWatermelon · 07/04/2017 23:46

Been treating myself a fair bit the last few weeks, as had a big birthday lately Grin.

Perfume
2 new tops
2 new dresses
Expensive haircut
Teeth whitening

mygorgeousmilo · 07/04/2017 23:54

Not had a chance to browse and buy yet, but after Easter I intend to buy whichever sunglasses look the most fabulous. Something designer and beautiful. Don't care how much, well.... within some kind of reason. I'm so excited about this treat, that I'm planning a whole day around it, to include lunch and mani/pedi. Will be the first and biggest treat to myself for absolutely ages!

PavlovianLunge · 08/04/2017 04:00

A bit late, but thanks, pixie.

PavlovianLunge · 08/04/2017 04:00

As in my thanks are late. Blush

I bought fantastic beasts and where to find them on DVD, for a tenner. Was bought as a present for ds, but think we both knew it was really for me...

Last thing before that was paying a tenner into a club last weekend with my sis Shock

I usually treat myself to food (pats belly happily).

Oh and post op posh chocolate obviously.

Headinthedraw · 08/04/2017 04:41

A non self conscious smile : braces on my teeth and whitening. I have never spent this much money on myself.

AnarchyKitty · 08/04/2017 06:11

@EricNorthmanIsMine
I have just bought, inspired by a past Irregular Choice thread, an art deco display cabinet for the hall for my collection storage

Riddo · 08/04/2017 06:34

A bag of mini eggs 🙂

1stDinkyDecker · 08/04/2017 06:37

yesterday, lunch and a cinema ticket

SisterMortificado · 08/04/2017 07:34

A sword.

It's a nice one, too. Not the most posh, but definitely nicer than my old one.

JunosRevenge · 08/04/2017 09:16

Funnyfarmer what a lovely DD you have Smile

My treat yesterday was a good set of shorter makeup brushes to go in my travel kit...

FutureMrsTempah · 08/04/2017 09:39

2 new bikinis that should actually fit so I don't look too hideous when taking little one swimming (And will also be useful when we go on holiday). Having big boobs is an expensive business!

aquashiv · 08/04/2017 14:24

Things don't really make me happy. It's just stuff. Experiences do. Just been on a lovely long hike in the mountains that makes me happy and it's a treat.

Scent, 4 weeks and one day ago and, on the same day, in response to a pre-sale alert for a favourite band, tickets to a concert this coming September. Felt a bit guilty but also bloody marvelous to spend money on frivolous indulgences after almost a year of living very frugally (and eking out the last drops and fumes in my scent bottle) so we'd have plenty of money to establish ourselves in a new high cost of living area we were moving to for work.

It was the day before we moved and I justified the double 'treat' by reasoning that the credit card debt wouldn't be made that much bigger given all the moving expenses we had to put on it plus we'd have at least one payday under our belts by the time it became due.

DH is currently at his steam-driven, bug-ridden and ultra slow computer paying the credit card down by at least half, next payday will pay it off completely and the payday after that I'm going shopping for a new summer wardrobe and he's buying himself a new laptop.

Brand new Fiat 500 Smile

Chasingsquirrels · 08/04/2017 15:27

Wednesday, I brought myself a £1.50 Malteaser Easter Egg and ate it that night.

ispymincepie · 08/04/2017 15:29

Popped to Lidl for lunch bits earlier and spent £119 on an overlocking machine Blush

Chasingsquirrels · 08/04/2017 15:34

Although I am going to buy myself some diamond earring studs.
I asked DH for some for my birthday last year, he hadn't got me anything as he'd been in hospital until a couple of days before, but with everything going on we didn't get round to it.
So then I said at Christmas, but he was again unwell and we were going to choose some when he felt more up to it, which never happened.
So I'm going to get the myself as a present from him.

FairytalesAreBullshit · 08/04/2017 15:39

I got myself a pair of leggings, so hardly treat of the century. But if you work it's your money to spend how you wish. If you needed or wanted a phone, why feel guilty about it Flowers

thebear1 · 08/04/2017 16:28

A custard tart and before that a haircut.

Elledouble · 08/04/2017 16:37

A pair of Doc Marten shoes. They are beautiful and I will wear them all the time though.
