And when it was?
Have just bought myself a new phone (s7). I havent had a new phone in years and only purchased this one as I dropped mine in the bath and it makes its own mind up about when it will work.
I hardly ever buy anything for myself. Is everyone like this??
Before the phone I got some expensive makeup almost a year ago Smile

I spent £5 on my favourite breakfast cereal yesterday. I never treat myself. Although I was tricked into it.
Last week we went food shopping and I asked my dd's what half term treat cereal they would like. They both picked expensive leading brand cereal. I saw some cereal I really liked and I said "oooh I love that cereal". Dd1 (16) said "why don't you get it?" I said "im not paying that for cereal just for me. Does anyone eles like it?" They both replied "no"
Yesterday just me and dd1 went shopping and asked if she could have some of the cereal that I said I liked. I said "I thought you didn't like it? " she said she did like it but didn't want it last week as she wanted the cereal she picked but this week she wanted that one because she really likes it too. So not really thinking I bought it for her. Then got home and realised she didn't like it at all! She wanted me to buy it for myself. Sweet really. I'm going to enjoy it though because I'll probably never buy it again.

I have bought myself a greenhouse because the old one blew away last year.

OhHolyFuck · 07/04/2017 20:13

Some new shoes as my beloved 'oh so comfy but damn ugly' sketchers have holes in the bottom and have started letting the rain in so have bought some prettier but probably not as comfy shoes on eBay, bargain at £4!

Babyblues14 · 07/04/2017 20:14

I'm intrigued, funnyfarmer, what cereal was it?
I've always wanted to try lucky charms but everywhere I go they are about 7 quid a box, so that a no go since I will probably hate itGrin

Gemdrop84 - I'd like to treat myself to that! But have had season 1 for a year and still not watched it. The rest of the family keep hogging the telly!

I don't get to treat myself much, it all goes on keeping my horses. My upcoming treat is sending them on holiday livery so I get two weeks of being hair and muck free Grin

Funnyfarmer · 07/04/2017 20:21

It was them kelloggs frosted wheats. There £3.50 a box 2 for £5. They don't do any own brand versions of it either. 2 for a £5 is the cheapest I've ever seen them.

Babyblues14 · 07/04/2017 20:23

Oooh, I love them. Everyone eats weetabix in my house and I can't stand them so any other cereal I buy is just mine.
Enjoy your expensive cereal Grin

Lucky charms arn't that nice. They used to do them in the bargain shops like homebargins and quality save not long ago. Think they was only about £3. I know still expensive but I lot cheaper that the £7 at the American sweet shops

Very rarely but this month I come into a bit of extra money, I treated myself to a yankee candle, (8.99 B&M) some new bedding (only primary), slippers, mauka honey face creams, few dvds and a Chinese takeaway while DP was at a works event one night.
Felt lovely.
