the bastard who raped me was found guilty today

It wasn't me who gave evidence but a young girl he raped less than a month after me.
Sentencing is in May and they expect him to get in excess of six years.

I know that they have recently started these sexual offences prevention orders OP. Presumably he would be a prime candidate for one of these? It means the offender has to give notice if he intends to have sex or tell the police if he gets into a relationship so they can be warned about his background. I can't say I think your fear is ungrounded though. In an ideal world he'd never be let out.

That poor girl, poor you. If justice had been served properly the first time, and he'd have been locked up for life, and I mean life till he croaks. Not 15 Years.
You both would not have suffered at his despicable hands.

I hope this time the key is thrown in the ocean.
Oh and they want to burn it off him as well, and choke him with it.

Oh my, hope can anyone not believe you.
You need to speak to someone about this, professionally. I know how hideous getting attacked is, although I was very fortunate in that he didn't get as far as raping me. I was 16 and suffered horrendous nightmares for a good few years after.

I hope he has a horrific time inside - other cons don't tend to have much time for scum like him inside so I think there may be justice served.

If I was you I would go to the sentencing, it may be healing.

You could ask the police to pass on your details to the other girl so she can contact you if she wants to.

You are a strong survivor. I never went to the police when I suffered a sexual assault, you were so brave.

Fantastic news, I work one day a week in a prison as part of my main job and I can tell you he will not have a nice time. 6 years will feel like 20.
