To be iffy about the cut-out shoulder craze?

Disclaimer before anybody says it: yes I know this is trivial!

This craze for clothes with the shoulders missing seems to have come out of nowhere. It's not that I dislike it - if it floats your boat then go for it. But so many clothes now have the shoulders missing that there seems to be nothing left to buy with shoulders!

Please tell me shoulders will come back in one day!

What about those bloody choker tops. Where on first glance it's a v neck top, then you realise that the round neck bit is still there, to make it look like a choker. Hideous.

They've been a godsend for my DD who is struggling with weight issues. She has beautiful shoulders but fat upper arms (not as bad as my bingo wings but she's a teen and peers are judgy fucks). So she wears them and feels good and that's reflected in her gait so she looks good. I would do a photo with head cut off but she'd positively kill me.
