To wear this dress to a wedding?

I am going to my cousin's wedding in a few weeks. I'd decided on a dress ages ago - one that I bought for my holiday last year but didn't end up wearing and haven't worn yet (perfect because money is rather tight at the moment).

However, it just clicked in my head (I'm a little slow, evidently) that the dress is essentially white. Is it too white to wear to a wedding? I'm planning on wearing it with a blue shrug, blue shoes and I'm making a blue necklace to go with it.

I don't really want to have to buy a new dress if I can possibly help it but I don't want to offend/upset anyone either.

I made a dress to wear to a wedding out of very similar fabric once. Nobody batted an eyelid and the thought didn't even cross my mind.

Not remotely bridal - go for it!

Just echoing everyone else but I think it's a lovely dress that will look great in the (hopefully!) sunny weather and won't upstage the bride at all I've definitely seen guests wearing similar dresses to weddings before and it's never been an issue.

On what planet is that dress essentially white?

It really isn't and will be just fine.

It's mostly blue and will look very nice.

Depending on the ceremony it may be too revealing (do you have a cardigan or a pashmina that wouldn't clash with the colour etc?)

I'm going to wear a blue shrug, a similar colour to the flowers, so should hopefully look okay!
