Erm... so I absolutely wasn't warming the Nutella up by popping it upside down on the toaster...

I now how a giant lump of nutulla inside the toaster. It's a dualit. I've fucked it, haven't I?

have since eaten the toast and nutulla, no actual evidence it was meWink----

Seriously though ... help?

Why did it need warming in the first place?
Do you keep it in the fridge? Shock

blue2014 · 31/03/2017 18:11

Nope, my kitchen is just really really cold!

I'm just here rubber necking waiting for someone to post "How much? For a toaster?!??'

Will I have to wait long do you think...

luckylucky24 · 31/03/2017 19:08

My husband got fish fingers stuck in the toaster last week. Blew the electric when trying to use it the next day.

cardibach · 31/03/2017 19:30

You are aware that spreading it on hot toast will make it melty?

blue2014 · 31/03/2017 20:53

I already said to him "how much? For a toaster?!" When he bought it, does that count Grin

Lucky your husband makes me feel better.

Nutella doesn't get melty when it's almost solid from the cold kitchen, it just rips your toast apart. Nothing sadder than mutilated toast with a solid lump of chocolate spread on one corner

I think you can still buy pop tarts you know Wink

DrFoxtrot · 31/03/2017 21:29

I'm with your DH, I love my dualit toaster. It's 17 years old and it's the only thing I would have been genuinely upset about my XH taking out of the house after we separated Blush.

blue2014 · 31/03/2017 21:36

Grin if we ever separate he can have the toaster

At least if I am ever unfortunate enough to get Nutella in my dualit, I can use the wonderful tips on this thread Grin.

nemno · 31/03/2017 21:46

Dualit toasters are easily fixed with spare bits from Dualit customer service. Ours is at least 20 yrs old and got new elements last year. Bargainous toaster really. My husband loves ours but he can have it if we separate because no pop-up feature and burnt toast is probably the reason we will separate.

Phew! I thought I was going to have to tell you off Grin

What about using a hot knife so you don't have to warm up the whole thing?
I heat a knife on the gas hob (obv no good if you don't have one!) to spread hard butter in the winter.

blue2014 · 01/04/2017 08:17

I
Grin I used to heat the knife but it's much gooey my way Smile

My son recently set an M&S cookie on fire 'warming' it in the microwave.

blue2014 · 03/04/2017 17:43

I blame the cookie .... Grin
