And that is the biggie I suspect that people were expecting today.....

I want to know why he wants immunity. And I'm not so sure they should grant it. They'll likely wait to see what he has, first and foremost, and then decide. But I'd rather see him get a choice of a short jail term or a longer one.

The fact that Flynn asked for immunity to speak abt #TrumpRussia means he thinks he'll need it. That is huge.

I'd give it to him. (If it!s as big as I think.)

The fact that nobody has taken him up on the offer yet implies that either 1- he's already given them the info they need or 2- they've already got enough solid info to proceed with or without him.

Are Trump's China tweets a forewarning of the massive insults he is going to swing their way on their visit? That won't go down well. if ever a President requires diplomacy and knowledge of how to conduct oneself, it is when the Chinese leader is visiting. They may smile and laugh, but mean the exact opposite. If he doesn't understand this -

Ginger I'm sure immunity deals take time to work out. One side has to be sure the info is worth granting immunity for (i.e. 'big' and provable), the other has to agree to terms. John Dean started working on his 'deal' in early April when he hired an attorney and began cooperating but it wasn't until late June that he began testifying after being granted immunity in exchange for pleading to one felony.

Interesting to note that Dean had previously asked Nixon for 'absolute immunity' and Nixon refused to grant it. Kinda makes you wonder if Flynn's asked for the same from Trump. And been refused.
