Where are the condolence messages from the Royal Family?

It's exactly this situation that we need the Royal Family to make a statement. I've looked, but I can't find any messages of condolence from them. The only reference I can find is when The Queen sent a message to the Head of the London Met saying that she wasn't turning up today. And then she eventually says "Sorry to hear about the attacks." - or similar.

Where is the message to those other people who died? Nothing from Charles, or William or anyone else.

I used to be a staunch Royalist but I've changed my mind now. If the Royal Family can't even send out some tweets saying "Condolences to the families of those who died or were injured" then what the bloody hell are they here for?

Am happy to BU and for someone to prove me wrong.

Goady fucker it it!

LullabelleBates · 24/03/2017 08:45

What difference will it make if the Queen sends a message or not?
OP, you must be having a totally 'pointless' day. Jeeeesus!!!

GladAllOver · 24/03/2017 10:40

If I ever needed confirmation that twatter should be avoided, the OP has provided it. Thank you!

Who gives a toss if some family send out a tweet or not. It's not like it's the Queen herself.

RortyCrankle · 24/03/2017 11:52

Honestly, you can't help the hard of thinking.

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 24/03/2017 12:23

Yep very true RortyCrankle

Dotty have you lost someone in this current tragedy and if so do you think this might be a displacement reaction? Because you're coming across as some sort of creepy member of the grief police, determining who should express what, and when, and how.

littlemissangrypants · 24/03/2017 12:42

I think the personal condolence messages the Queen and her family send are enough and they themselves have lost members of their family to terrorists. Lord Mountbatten (Queens cousin) and his grandson were blown up by the IRA so I'm pretty damn sure the family know what it feels like to lose someone in these circumstances.

Prince Charles leaving Kings College hospital just now after visiting some of the injured.

Prince Charles has visited some of the victims in hopsital. I think thats much better than some shitty condolences that somebody wrote for them. And what difference would they make anyway, its one thing to be sorry its another to actually do something about it.
