Typos/left out apostrophes: We all do them, it happens, whatever. But to have a post with a bunch of typos and then at the end say "Oh and sorry about all the typos, I was typing too fast" is like...lazy. Just go fix them then you won't have to type out the apology!

And speaking of lazy, how hard is it to type KNOW or ANY (or FOR or YOU or ONE or BE...). You don't have to purchase space by the letter! Just type the word out.

Seconding whoever it was who said that the correct choice of word can mean the difference between knowing your shit and knowing you're shit.

carefreeeee, I used to work at a vet's, and yes, we had a regular stream of people ringing up or dropping in to enquire about having their pet newted or their bitch spaded. I gritted my teeth and gave up saying anything after a while.

Maybe it's already been said but I just cannot bear "I was sat" or "I was stood". You wouldn't say "I was went" or "I was ate" would you?
