Not the first time either.

I'm Facebook friends with my first love. Ultimately we were incompatible and at different stages in life when we split up. I was a few years younger than him. But he is a lovely guy and I have very fond memories. His status updates remind me why we were incompatible and why it was only ever young love, but I do like to see him happy as he's had a bit of a nomadic existence. Dh knows he's a Facebook friend and isn't bothered since I chose to settle down, have children and spend the rest of my life with just one person!

Tbh, if there was something for you to worry about, he'd be hiding it better. Exes are often people who were important at one point, it's not unusual to wonder what they're up to occasionally.
