warning. May make some people feel a bit sick

walk to school and back every day, there is one basic route from my house (so I can't go another way before it's suggested).

I pass by a fellow school childs house early on and the father and I often end up walking close to each other. We don't talk as he doesn't speak English bar a few phrases.

Here's the problem. He spits and blows his nose constantly. Not into a hankie, but onto the floor. He hacks up phlegm very loudly and really fires it out. And when he blows his nose he covers one nostril and blows everything out through the other one. Everywhere with no tissue.

It actually makes me heave. I've been late to school before because I've had to hang behind him and wait for him to get a good deal ahead of me because I couldn't listen/see it.

WIBU to say something to him?

It's literally every day I see him hack something up.

Once stayed with my sister and her husband had a hacking cough and whilst we sat at dinner he continuously hacked away with his cough and then spat his phlegm into a hankie all through the meal. Made me want to retch and I'm not a squeamish type...

I have a man who used to stand outside my door doing the same bloody thing

I Have a ring doorbell, the first time it happened he was so loud it scared the living day lights out of me! To be fair at least he was blowing his nose but what happened next was vile as I checked the camera to see if there was a murderer outside Wink footage revealed it was this dirty bugger blowing his nose into his hands and then hacking up and spitting,

Gross

Same thing happened the next day, I thought it was odd he was stopping in this spot but maybe he does it all the way to his destination . Anyway I wanted to hose him down but DH said not such a good idea, I would have loved to have hosed him (looked like a good hose would do him the world of good) so as I got used to the time I spoke via the ring in the end and said "you are being watched" "move away" in my best scary voice (it was literally scaring the cat and making me jump when this thing went off)

He never walked past the door again from what I can see - but for four days it lasted regularly as clockwork and was disgusting what he was doing which I won't share as it gives me sleepless nights lol

Obviously it's disgusting to us, but then we are probably viewed as disgusting when we go to Japan and use a tissue instead of sniffing.
