Apparently she was asked if she had had ever met with the Russian Ambassador. She said no.

In 2010, the Russian President was in town and there was a meeting with the President and congressional leaders. Nancy Pelosi was there as were many other leaders. The Russian ambassador was there as well.

If you are part of a big group and you meet up with others from a big group, would you say yes or no when asked if you had met with the Russian ambassador?

I think I've give a 'qualified Yes', ami. The big difference here is - is the person you're asking a shining example of ethical and truthful conduct? Recusal from such a person might be seen as an admirable thing. Otherwise? Not so.

Even if Schumer had ties with Russia, he's not the President of the USA, who's not divested from his businesses and advocates stopping sanctions and refuses to investigate any interference by Russia in the US elections.
