This is a masterclass in dealing with fake news.

The FT has taken claims made by Ted Malloch has made about his career and investigated them one by one.

Ted Malloch hopes to be ambassador to the EU. When the FT article came out, he went on Breitbart to whine that people were being mean to him, to repeat some of his discredited claims and make new ones.

There are banks that call themselves an ethical bank as they do not have any dealings with companies that have their business involved the arms industry, business involved in harming the environment etc
So one would be correct in thinking that the opposite is true & therefore is it not too unreasonable to think some banks may have be deeply involved with say the arms industry to a point that say an arms dealer or arms business may own part of said bank. And that this arms dealer/business may have links to something very sinister that could involve certain governments and/or something that would be condemned by organisations like the UN & also condemned by most countries.
Something like the arms dealing owner of this bank may be financing/has financed the military/weaponry of country A who is currently annexing/has annexed part of country B & country A may have accidentally caused the death of a few hundred people from country C.
So bank may decided to scratch a few backs of high ranking people in country C using the guise of helping out in order to cover up & meddle.
And this bank gives loans to certain businesses & their owners maybe at very special rates. I'll scratch your back once but you will scratch may back whenever I call or this may happen.......

I have a vivid imagination but if you look hard enough you will find truth however unpalatable or far fetched it may be.

Well, the Rachel Maddows piece linked way above shows DJT himself received $60 million in 2008 (or thereabouts), just when he needed money. He'd bought a mansion for $40 million and it had sat empty for two years. Then someone paid him $100 million for it (and it sat empty again).

The "someone" was Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev, who is a major shareholder in the Bank in Cyprus, whose other major shareholder, Wilbur Ross is an American who, oh, has just been made US Commerce Secretary.

Of course that's not proving 45's campaign received money, it's just an example of how money can be funnelled to someone.
