To think I have grey coloured eyes and not blue (pic included)

They're not blue. They're grey.

Everyone my entire life has said they're blue but they're clearly not. I'm not colour blind. There's no blue in them at all.

I'd love to have beautiful blue eyes but I don't. Anyway, I'm right aren't I? I have completely grey eyes and I'm not being unreasonable to be annoyed when people say they're blue am I?

Mine used to be hazel but have got greener with age. My sil has green flecked with yellow.lovely. yours are grey op - and pretty.

I have green eyes, my middle child has eyes exactly the same colour as yours, possibly a little lighter, and although I'd describe them as grey, if I had to put an eye colour down on a form (for whatever reason), I'd describe them as blue.

My DM spent my entire childhood describing my eyes as being blue, when they were very clearly green. It wound me up so much!

My eldest DD however has inherited DH's eye colour which is green around the very outside and then mostly brown in the middle. I have no idea how to describe her eye colour - is that what hazel is?

I'd say grey-blue, with a bit of hazel thrown in for good measure. They are very pretty.

Do they change colour wth what you wear?

Mine are hazel but with the right makeup can look green. 👁👁

I once dyed my hair black and my eyes suddenly
Looked completely blue. It was bizarre!

But with brown hair they definitely look grey. And my natural colour is brown.

Op you have beautiful eyes. Mine are a weird colour of brown, green and sometimes a weird gold colour.

I have heterochromatic eyes but mine are green with golden brown radiating streaks. I always describe them as hazel.

Mine are grey too OP. I think they look so dull and well.....old and would much prefer bright blue eyes.

Mine are grey too, with flecks of greeny yellow. People, in the context of talking about my kids being so dark compared to me(not in a bad way, they got none of my colouring at all!!) or choosing outfits or whatever, will mention my blue eyes. I just think that they've never really looked at me properly! Hmm
