Cool No, I get what you meant. I was just pointing out that for us (and for some others I know with same situation), the child or person with ADHD isn't exhausted from lack of sleep (but the parent is!!!). My son hasn't ever slept the whole night though - he's 10. And yet every morning he's up at 5am and needs meds to get to sleep at night. It's just the way he's wired.

Wait. What's this about a yuge rally? Is he campaigning again? Shouldn't he be, I don't know, doing President stuff like reading information, listening to constituents, and preventing international incidents, etc.? I guess he wants to feel some adoration and send the message that hey! Everyone does love me. I'm winning!
(Notice the 'me' and 'I' there. I don't think serving his country comes into this at all.)
Nevertheless, a rally outside election time leaves me feeling a little uneasy.

Thanks Ginger. I confess that I am thinking along the same line as Claws. Even if there's no financial angle, he can be given a 'ra-ra' rally (or indeed a few of them) to give him some luuurrrrvvv as an antidote to having to be 'statesmanlike'.

I think he's hoping the "campaign formula" will win over those who are drifting away from him. It's a desperate attempt to grab back the glory.

I think the main distinction is that if you give money to the president that could be construed as bribery, but if you give to his campaign you are just a political supporter.

He's much better at throwing out sound-bytes than actually making intelligent conversation and discussing politics. Rallies just mean he has to act powerful and enthusiastic and shout out those "catchphases" without actually SAYING anything.
