To go to the cinema on my own?

DD's away with her dad and DP will be out this evening so I'm at a lose end. I could ask a friend to go with me but I'm a bit flat and not great company. I really want to see Lion and tonight's a good opportunity. Would it be really sad to go on my own?Blush

Well I did it. It was packed (full of groups and couples so felt slightly more conspicuous than I might have done otherwise)

I ate popcorn, drank proseccco and thoroughly enjoyed the film. There were moments when it would have been nice to hold someone's hand (Blush) but otherwise I survived.

A beautiful, beautiful film. DP's slightly miffed now though because he's not normally bothered about the cinema but he's a sucker for a true story (I hadn't realised it was based on real events) so I might need to go again with him!

Glad you had a nice time. Now plan the next visit!

I used to go at least once a week on my own in my twenties! I also went with friends but was quite film obsessed.

I'd love to do it again. Go for it!

Now you've had your first visit alone, you won't worry again Smile
