Have you seen this?

www.independent.co.uk/life-style/health-and-families/health-news/rip-ivf-nhs-cuts-to-fertility-treatment-will-deny-thousands-parenthood-a6717326.html

I can see both sides of the argument but AIBU to feel very sad that it's come to this Sad

Bonkers Sad

As for the trans boobs - I am hoping that like the daily-meal-health tourists it's a bit of myth Confused

Sorry for even mentioning the dreaded T word - shiiit

It's all bonkers.

I just made the mistake of re-reading the article and the comments (never good). I can't believe someone (ironically called "common sense") has suggested that a route to parenthood is to find a partner who already has kids Hmm.

Well today's NHS updates are -

My friend has her varicose veins taken out !

I could do a NHS update with the things some of my patients have been refused due to cuts in the last couple of shifts I've worked.

Don't underestimate the pain that VV can cause some people. It's not just a cosmetic surgery. It can also lead to DVT, venous insufficiency, ulcers and a couple of other things. Are you really saying that it isn't a procedure the NHS should fund?

Yes, the NHS wastes money on shit but I'm sure eventually it will stop, or get better, along with the essential services that have been cut as well.

I don't think the fact that someone had VV removed and the chemist had gluten free bread means IVF should continue to be funded. It just means gluten free bread shouldn't be on prescription.

Oh I am pleased for her ! I am more pleasantly surprised as have given up on getting anything relatively minor done (still bitter about the £4000 we had to spend ) - I didn't mean it nastily sorry if it read that way

My mistake :) I got the wrong end of the stick, sorry.
