The Muslim ban managed to get the public talking about something other than the Russia ties. This refocuses everything. Expect to see something godawful trotted out (their re-done EO on ban?) to take the attention away from Russia again.

The immigration ban ExO reworked so it might succeed... From what I understand about the legal judgements, it needs to explicitly say that legal US residents/visa holders are exempt. But mostly it needs to be evidenced why the threat is real from the stated countries (not just analysis which is merely some kind of expert opinion & all they have, instead need to state some "facts" ... So can't just redraft the wording, but need to cite some evidence and produce a clearer plan for what to do so that it is only temporary.

I suspect this is going to be the crux of it. It can only be one of two stories:

1. Both Flynn and Pence knew.

or

1. Flynn lied to Pence, so Pence didn't know the truth.

Either way, it's already fact that Flynn did this. They now have to choose whether or not to save Pence. If the VP can't serve, does it go to Ryan? Or can Trump choose a VP? VP Bannon? Okay, must go look that up, as I can't remember the details on how it works. I'm pretty sure the P can choose a VP. if so, Bannon will be pushing for Pence to go too, so he can step in. Thoughts?
