I've always wanted to learn to play drums. I'm 48 and this year I'm sorting the garage and setting up a kit.

I'm partly deaf and have had everyone telling me since I was a kid that I couldn't possibly be able to do anything musically.

Stuff them, I want to play along with my favourite metal bands. 😁

Good for you Raspberry! My mother-in-law knows a very successful deaf musician Smile
That is a very good point Want2bsupermum. Thank you for reminding me Smile

snow DS has ASD. There is a huge need for educational psychologists. Also I think being a paediatric development specialist must be fascinating work. Consuming but very rewarding.

I wanted to be a life coach but didn't believe there was enough of a wage in it when I divorced seven years ago and needed to start over career wise. In hindsight it was the right decision overall but I wish I'd done it in the evenings or weekends so that I wasn't just doing my dull office job now and had something to build up and dream of doing FT
