He's a twenty five year old yet from the droning on about photographs of loved dead people, driving home listening to Elton John (reeeeeeally) and drug addled young people, you'd think he was well into his sixties!

I always feel like reminding ed sheeran that driving at ninety down country roads is a Pretty Fucking Stupid thing to do after his latest release.

I also get an image of him sniffing the wet patch in the morning. And that's just weird.

Too much smut in songs nowadays. No one ever writes songs about going to Pizza Hut, having a quick snog and going home after, do they?

I agree, ED is much too talented for that type of song, but it works with popular culture and sure it will sell very well. DS starts bopping to it in the car as soon as it comes on, it makes me wince.

I heard this today and was annoyed by it, I think he ought to be ashamed of himself and what the hell it is doing at number 1 is anyones guess, Whatever happened to loving someone because they are kind,compassionate, funny, witty, happy or God forbid natural with nothing fake about them! He must be loaded by now - he's written half the top 40 most months.

I worked with him once just before he launched his solo career and was just writing for other people. He's a really nice genuine guy, but I did think at the time that it was weird how he sang like a boy band member but so obviously didn't fit that mould. He and the engineer kept joking that they were going to make an album of popular songs in the style of BoyzIIMen.
