To think I should be able to feel my stomach again?

I had a c-section 16 months ago and I still can't feel the lower part of my stomach at the front. Is this permanent?

I was wondering what other people's experiences were, and if I'm being unreasonable to expect that the feeling will return at some point.

It's not a massive thing - I'm diabetic so I've got a lovely numb patch to aim at for injections - I just think it's a bit weird and it was unexpected.

OMG! 6 years post c section and I've never really noticed it's totally numb! I just had a nip and a prod! Shock how have I never noticed? Haha

My feeling came back all on it's own, I didn't do anything special (apart from poking the area every now and then to see if it was still numb, and then stroking it occasionally once I had the pins and needles feeling just because it was such a weird feeling.

shenumpty I have no idea! This has blown my mind a little bit! I was just messaging my sister about it haha! I must have noticed at some point and then forgotten?

6 years here, and I've just noticed it's very gradually coming back, just a tiny bit.

I have this 6 months later as does my mum over 36 years after her c section.
