If you don't "cook from scratch", what do you eat?

Sorry, this is prompted by another thread, but I am really curious.

I am not a super-woman but I do (mostly) "Cook from scratch" despite being a lone parent who works long hours four days a week. I guess I do this because I am not British (but live in the UK now) and have always cooked. I don't really have time to cook when I get home from work so I batch cook on the weekend or sometimes in the evening. Or I make things that are very quick, like egg dishes, etc.

If you don't really cook, then what do you eat? I guess if you are single you can get away with eating out but that's not an option if you have kids...

I cook most things from scratch. We eat the occasional frozen pizza, probably 2 or 3 times a year and I buy pasta now as DH isnt so keen on pasta so no point in making it any more. I also buy frozen peas ( only frozen veg I eat and as peas are my favorite veg EVVA I wont be without them). I have been known to eat store bought chicken nuggets too. I make my own bread, pastry, sausages, bacon, pickles, mustard etc.
I do this not because of any idea that I rock but because its something I take a massive amount of pleasure out of doing, I find it very relaxing and rewarding. I do it for fun really. I plan what Im going to make on a Saturday and spend all day making whatever I have decided on. Ill make 30lbs of sausage at a time for instance or 12 jars of mustard. I slice and freeze bread for the week or make rolls and freeze them ( I have 2 MASSIVE freezers cos Im not normal Grin )
Ive never bought a prechopped veg in my life, only cos I cant imagine the frozen ones not being soggy and the fresh ones in the veg dept always look dry.

I would say we don't cook from scatch, typical meals

roast chicken and salad
salmon fillet and veg
prawn or chicken stir fry (with bag of stir fry veg)
scrambled eggs on toast
jacket potato with tuna or beans
sausages and mash/chips or veg
shop bought meatballs with pasta
pasta with pesto or home made bolognaise or tomato sauce
pizza

there are loads of things you can eat that are not necessarily cooking from scratch but aren't ready meals, jars or take away.
