Once saw a t'shirt on a little girl of no more than 2 saying "baby bitch" what parent would do that to thier child.

We have a 'Little Man' t'shirt and a 'Mummy's Princess' etc etc.

But the one's we're taling about here are disguting, obscene and dangerous!

What am I sayin, DS is in a bodysuit today that say's mummy's little monster - but I sometimes call DD a little toad when she's being cheeky so I hope that in someway balances it

What annoys me is the lack of choice when buying low cost clothing - they have silly things written on them and very little choice in interesting colours for boys - it's all blue or beige or khaki green - don't like putting war clothing on a toddler.

pruni - I do agree about little princess though. It feels unfair because dd would love a teeshirt that said little princess and wouldn't understand the connotations.

Well I like, what I perceive to be non-harmful slogans.

My daughter is my little princess so I have no problems in puting in her a top with such a slogan.

However I do observe and acknowledge that while little girls get all the cute slogans, such princess and angel etc, little boys are stuck with mokey and monster etc. Which is why I went to great pains to get Cheeky Monkey for both my DS and DD.

I like the ones from Universal best though in line with Cat in the Hat, "Thing 1" and "Thing 2" would love to get those for my two!

However in point of the opening post - I too am without sense of humour when it comes to this particular slogan.

Hate those types of slogans - inappropriate for children IMO.

The best I ever saw was twin boys wearing a t-shirt each with arrows pointing to the side saying "HE DID IT" !!

I thought it was quite fun for adults to look at although the boys were too young to find it amusing !!

I think what's so disgusting about it as well, is that it's making the porn culture so acceptable and mainstream, that you can mention it, display it and snigger about it in the presence of children. And even make a child complicit in it.

I remember seeings bibs and babygros in a tourist tat shop at the seaside once. No doubt they were also meant to appeal to parents with a "sense of humour" but these things were for babies and they said "sexy baby". How can you have a sexy baby ? "Sexy" means sexually attractive, or titillating surely ?

ds has a 'Little Prince' bodysuit! It's the only slogan thing he has - as a rule I detest slogan clothing, but this one was pretty understated and sweet.
