to complain about hand car wash staff?

Went to a local supermarket this morning and decided to have my car cleaned - there is a hand car wash in the car park. Done my shopping and looked out of the window to see if the car was ready. There were some 3 people still cleaning, doors and boot open. Now, as DS is learning to swim I have a float and this long foam noodle/woggle in the boot. While I was watching, one man took this noodle, looked around, swung it and slapped his female colleague's bottom and then put the noodle back in the boot.

I went to collect my car, talked to the person in charge and he agreed it shouldn't have happened. He called his staff and asked me who it was, but I couldn't tell. They all just stared at me in silence as though I was some kind of a monster.

WIBU to complain?

Trying to work out if this is a feminist issue (bottom noddling) or an immigration one (99.99% of hand car wash staff being low paid Eastern Europeans)

I didn't like the fact that someone takes my stuff and plays around with it, be it a noodle or something else. But it seems you are all happy with strangers poking through your stuff!

I thought you were going to say you saw them driving your car whilst it was in for a clean (yes I have seen this happening, and is the reason I was it myself or go through a drive through.)

Poking through you stuff? If they hadn't have moved your boot crap to clean it, you would have complained they didn't do a thorough enough job. Poor buggers can't win!

I'd have to see a complete re-enactment to judge tbh, along with distance markers, details of your eyesight, a statement from the female employee and a weather report.

At our local handwash they take the stuff out of the boot so they can properly clean it. I've never worried about them "handling my things"

They have probably got a boring, exhausting minimum wage job, its cold and then you complain about the noodle, i think its a bit OTT to complain about it, no harm was done
