about expensive wadrobe

So we've got some lovely bedroom furniture (Bedside tables, dressing table, chest of drawers and free standing mirror) from Barker and Stonehouse which we've had about 6 years. We got it in the sale but still wasn't cheap. I love it though and will last forever as its all really sturdy. However were really lacking storage for clothes and I've seen they've got a wadrobe which would match exactly but it's £940. I know it's alot of money but it goes exactly with the rest of the furniture. What would you do? Am I being unreasonable to think this would be ideal? They do a 0% interest deal over 10 months that would be fine but husband isn't interested and just keep saying 'It's a thousand pound!'. I'm aware of that but the only other solution is to get a cheaper one that doesn't match so well for the sake of saving £500. I'm trying to think long term but agree it is a lot of money. We do have a fitted wadrobe but due to the boiler being in there it doesn't fit a lot of clothes in.

Do you really need more storage or do you just have too much stuff?

Have you been through everything in the ones you already have to get rid of stuff that's worn out or has never been worn? As a PP said, a read of the Marie Kondo books would be great.

I'm a bit concerned about your husband being so dictatorial - so a new tv trumps a new sofa? Did he discuss that with you? Why does he get the final say?

To be fair Libitina we do have a bit too much too but it's hard keeping up with two growing 6 & 8yr old dc. Feel like I'm constantly going through their stuff and sending their outgrown clothes to friends or charity. Toys too!
Itscurtainsforyou I do think out of the two of us dh is the sensible one when it comes to money so it does usually work well but I do feel like I have to ask him for his permission sometimes. Only for big things to be honest. He only bought the tv because he won £500 on the football which is why he went ahead and got it. He's said we'll order the settee next weekend and I'll keep looking for my wardrobe.
I'm going through a bit of a tough time at the minute so think I'm overly sensitive too which is why I wanted to ask opinions. You've all made me think a bit more clearly Halo

More storage means you're just going to buy more clothes... downside your clothing collection, save yourself the money and have a great sofa :)

Yea you're right flown I still need to get rid of some clothes but I'll still need more storage.

You will regret it if you don't. Barker Stomehouse furniture is lovely and beautifully made. If you buy a cheap version you will want to replace it in 5 years. Quality all the way

Its not real wood though.
