Just that Grin I'm so desperate! I have asked some of my closest friends and they have all looked at me like I'm absolutely crazy! So it looks like I'd have to go on my own.

I have done a few solo trips, I'd not do 2 weeks like I do with other half, but say 1 week and then meet friends in say New York before/after.

Oh you should totally go! I went on a last minute solo trip to Orlando a few years ago with the intention of just chilling etc. Ended up going to Disney twice! Hollywood studios and Epcot, they were fab.

Nobody looks at you oddly - tbf they probably assume your friends or family have just wandered off to a different attraction.

I stayed at the Westgate Palace on I-Drive and you can walk to universal studios from there. You'd need a cab or bus to Disneyworld.

Best of luck!

GO GO GO.

You will only regret it if you dont. Why not do something just for you?

Epcot is great fun we went on the 'Mission to Mars' 3 times at my insistance and I dont do rollercoasters (it isnt one just feels so real!) All the future stuff is brill. And the fireworks!!!!

Visit the dibb website for lots of info on planning your trip.

Plus you will probably be able to get cheaper tickets for both Disney and Universal when buying them together on a ticket site for a week than just day tickets.

P.S. If you like Harry Potter you HAVE to go to Universal Xmas Smile its just fantastic.

Lots of hotels have free buses to the parks so you dont have to worry about parking (How you ever find your car in the miles of parks I dont know!)

Go enjoy

Actually thinking about it. Going to Disney on your own is probably better than a beach holiday on your own. There's so much to see and actually do you'll never be bored or lonely.
