I'm so bloody scared! It's tomorrow morning and I'm terrified 😪

I'm having thoughts of cancelling it :(

Well done OP! It will ache for a couple of days but brufen and Paras should sort it out.
User-whatevernumbers better to have a dental phobia...Which can be overcome than to be a lifelong dickhead. No need at all for your input.

Thanks everyone. It currently doesn't feel any different to before the filling as it hurts still when i bite down, hopefully it will get better though x

Should do. Deeper fillings take longer to settle ime. X

If your really struggle with post-filling pain, I'd recommend difflam (a mouthwash with anaesthetic in it). Available from most chemists.

But it will likely settle on it's own pretty quickly.

Orajel is another good one if you're struggling with the after pain/ discomfort. You apply it to your tooth like bonjela and it contains benzocaine so it numbs the the tooth (and your tongue if you get too liberal with it 😂). You can only buy it from chemists from memory.

The injections hurt. It's lying to say they don't though the gel helps. Still the alternative - no anaesthetic - would be far worse.
