If your sibling has no DC do they get more presents from your parents than if they did

Not sure how I feel about this really. I have 2 DC who my parents of course buy Christmas presents for. To sort of compensate for this my childless DSis gets that sort of value of pressies extra. Feel slightly put out but I know it is petty and IA probably BU!

I don't think it matters, I mean I don't spend the same amount on my DCs as I just buy them what I want and they get what they get costing whatever I have decided to spend. They are old enough to understand that and so should you and your sister.

Not had kids long enough to know. Don't think so yet, but dsis is younger and not had kids yet. Also not tried and failed to have kids (iyswim). If she were 44 and alone and likely to stay that way I could see my parents wanting to keep things fair and spend more on her than I as my dc share in my share of Christmas budget

I think it's normal. We only buy for dc but if an adult didn't have dc would buy for them.

I don't spend the same amount on my dc either

I don't know whether my parents do this, (I don't pay a lot of attention to what others are getting) but I would be perfectly happy if they did. I have 5 dc and DH and I are not bothered about stuff and appreciate that buying for my DC costs my parents and my brothers a lot.
