I'm guessing they looked for a stock photo of babies playing with a laptop and thought that was the best one for whatever reason. I don't think it's likely to be in anyway related to gender-stereotyping and/or feminism.

Ask yourself - why does a "girl baby" need to be embellished with a headband? And why do we, looking at that photo, need to know that two of them are girls and two of them are boys?

Erm some people like to put headbands on their daughters, my DD doesn't look particularly girly and 99 times out of 100 doesn't wear a headband and doesn't wear girly clothes but I have the right to put one on her if the mood strikes.
Are we not meant to put them on baby girls nowadays so as not to offend people with too much time on their hands?

It could be possible that the ones without headbands are also girls.

U2 don't be so reductive. Gender stereotyping is a really important issue (not a bee in a bonnet) and I understood (although clearly am wrong) that HQ were firmly against it.

My DD wore a headband to stop her curly thick hair from getting in her eyes. She was born with almost a full Afro. Please tell me why that is 'stupid'.
