Yes I know it's reality TV and probably fixed. But it is one of the few of these types of shows where the winner is chosen on their business acumen, intelligence, team work, cooperation, creativity, etc etc.

So why have TWO of this year's finalists, Frances and Jessica, decided to throw all that away and be pictured in their underwear for a "racy shoot"? Frances runs her own children's clothing company. Jessica has an online fashion business.

But fuck it, none of that is important because they look OK in their underwear.

I am so weary of the "women's choice" argument that is trotted out time and again. If a woman has the choice between a) being wank fodder for men and b) not being wank fodder for men, is that really empowering?

The show has definitely dumbed down since the early days - can't see candidates like Ruth Badger or Tim Campbell, or even the loathsome Katie Hopkins stripping off and pouting at the camera. The Glaswegian woman who was one of the first to be fired this year was thick as two short planks.

Researchers are obviously choosing the wannabes on qualities other than business acumen and intelligence. Won't be surprised if Lord Sugar distances himself from the whole circus soon either.

And the spoiler was wrong anyway!! Twitter was awash with rumours that Grainne had won as Lord Sugar had "followed" her a few months ago, but she was the first out last night.

Also the posters who pointed out that Jessica and Frances couldn't possibly be the winners because of the underwear shots were spot on too. BBC would never agree to it.

Anyway. I hope Alana wins. She comes across well, is sensible and nice, makes lovely cakes and isn't a drama llama. Couldn't imagine her stripping down to her pants and whoring herself round the cheap reality shows. Quite like Courtney too although not so sure about the champagne flute baby bottle...

They're not the first contestants to do such a shoot. At least they weren't caught going at it in a field with someone else's husband. I think you have the wrong idea of 'disgusting'.

Loathsome Katie did strip off- even more classily, she had arranged paps to shoot a lunchtime 'romp' in a field after TA ended, I remember seeing the really really awful pics at the time!
