To think that pretty soon Body Shop will pay me to buy their items

I've just had a code for 40% off, free delivery and a free gift worth £7 so basically got a £21 order for £5.40!

I'm not complaining, obviously, but you do wonder how they make any money.

The code is 19807 in case anyone is interested

19807 is giving 50% off haircare and 40% off everything else, with exceptions (like the oils of life, which is meh anyway!)

I've got an order in the basket for £56, all eligible for 40% off but when I put the code in it's saying 40% of that is only £5.60 discount.

Don't like their sums.

Yes I had the same experience. Supposedly 40% off, but only £2 off a £20 order. Not a particularly good deal.
