AIBU to hope we could have a polite and compassionate mums net discussion about whether it's OK to have some one like this on mainstream TV? If we can't have a polite and compassionate discussion on both sides, why would that be?

While I don't agree with her opinions. I think everyone has the right to them. So, I don't see the issue with her being on TV but it should be kept to an adult forum.

Young children are impressionable. But then I think religion should be kept away from kids too

I think though that there is a very good point, illustrated by Jon Oliver in [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjuGCJJUGsg this] video about climate change. If someone has a minority (and far right) opinion, their view doesn't have to be treated as important. They need to be balanced by aaaaallll the middle people and a Communist. Because that's just as 'relevant' as fascism.

Unfortunately the alt right have a very good marketing department.

LittleBoo, the fact that everyone has a right to their opinions doesn't mean that everyone has the right to go on TV and spout them, or to any other platform.
