Really? Do we complain about everything now?

Is this really news?

I guess I'm in for another sleepless night. Worry about those potato letters.

spanieleyes · 06/12/2016 19:35

My first name has 10 letters in it, I would have been as fat as a barrel if I had been expected to eat my whole name in potato letters as a child!

ScarlettO89 · 06/12/2016 19:37

She sounds like a knob. I hate people like that

StrangeLookingParasite · 06/12/2016 19:42

I love this thread.

PinkiePiesCupcakes · 06/12/2016 19:46

This is why I changed my daughters name.
I cpoikdnt afford to buy fancy pants letter shaped potato bite, I could only afford Every Day Value Chips, so my daughter got called llllllllllllllllll lllllll lllllllll now she can spell out her whole name on her plate.

paulapantsdown · 06/12/2016 20:02

I long for this woman's life, when my problems are so few and far between that this is the most terrible thing to tax my mind.

PurpleCrazyHorse · 06/12/2016 20:09

Sorry, I do love those round nobbly pink and blue liquorice allsorts. I was pregnant though, so I think that explains the bland three tier black and white ones Grin Apparently they were sent directly from the factory although some poor sod would have had to re-programme a machine somewhere I expect.

I think it helped that the Tesco HQ lady that got back to me was pregnant too, so totally got my mad cravings. Can't eat them now though, I felt so sick working through both bags, I reckon they were at least 500g each!

BroomstickOfLove · 06/12/2016 20:21

I think that this is a clever marketing ploy from the makers of Alphabites, to make a story about their product go viral and remind former lovers of the product that are still around. I am now desperate for some (along with crispy pancakes and toast toppers) as the junk food of my youth.

airforsharon · 06/12/2016 20:25

That made me snort so loudly I frightened the dogs. Priceless thread, but what a dimwit of a woman.

3luckystars · 06/12/2016 20:26

what's a toast topper please? Can I eat them, my name is quite unusual.

BMacklin · 06/12/2016 20:33

Bbbahahahahaha! at pinkie

MrsHathaway · 06/12/2016 21:13

Toast toppers are a kind of sludge which you put on toast and which vaguely resembles food that has been predigested.

TheMortificadosDragon · 06/12/2016 21:27

Sort of like a hot version of sandwich spread. Do they still make that?

ShowMePotatoSalad · 06/12/2016 21:43

Hahahaha Ifarts you are an effing genius

ShowMePotatoSalad · 06/12/2016 21:45

Couldn't she have just told Logan that a turkey dinosaur ate all the Ls and Os??????

Wolverbamptonwanderer · 06/12/2016 21:48

So the mirror just trawled Facebook, found this and reported it as news?! Lazy fuckers

3luckystars · 06/12/2016 21:58

I can understand why she is furious but she could have poured all the letters out and told Logan it was a countdown conundrum.

listsandbudgets · 06/12/2016 22:08

purple crazy horse so pleased to meet another who craved liquorice all sorts. I thought I must be the only one.

I once had to get off a bus to find a shop selling them because a little boy had a packet and I was considering robbery with menaces I was so desperate for them and I'm not sure that craving would have been much of a defence in court

MidniteScribbler · 06/12/2016 22:23

Most hilarious sad face ever. I can't wait to see what she gets out of this one.

I did complain to Twinings once because the tea bags in my 10 pack of English Breakfast kept breaking. They sent me 5 x 100 packs of English Breakfast, plus a fancy mixed box of 100 different teas. Since I drink tea about once per month, they're lasting quite a while. Perhaps complaining does pay off sometimes?

MLGs · 06/12/2016 22:25

This thread is so funny I've been crying laughing.

I clicked on it in the first place because I thought she meant she couldn't spell his name with the actual alphabet and couldn't work out how on earth that worked....

Niggit · 06/12/2016 22:45

This is a brilliant thread. Just brilliant. My OH was working from home today and had to make several phone calls, and I got told off for snorting...

Nerdymum83 · 07/12/2016 17:46

I'm sorry, but I can't help but laugh at this. What does she expect for a bag of potato products? It's not like anyone hand picks the letters that go in.
They do all the letters, but a machine mixes them up and fills the bags with a certain weight automatically.

TesticleMeElmo · 07/12/2016 17:46

Maybe she should consider changing her sons name? With all those c's, j's, p's and y's im sure she could spell something Polish Wink

MummyMuppet2x2 · 07/12/2016 18:11

Wetting meself laughing at Pinkie here!!!! Vintage!!

IWantAnotherBaby · 07/12/2016 18:17

That's hilarious. Stupid woman desperate for her 5 minutes of fame despite feeding her children utter shite...
