I can't be the only one, can I Grin

The backs of the top of my legs are really impressive too. Thick man hair.

ThornyBird · 06/12/2016 08:52

Ah fellow Hairys Grin

I stopped removing body hair a while ago due to a skin condition - dh claims to be indifferent. It certainly doesn't seem to affect his libido Wink

So I sport rather fine boob pubes, luscious pit muffs (which I stroke in the summer when they are easily accessible as a comfort thing Blush), a creeping 70s bush that starts at my belly button and seems to be heading towards my knees with a few stragglers Shock

I have been quite ranty in the past about people's reactions to female body hair - having been told I am dirty or unclean or unhygienic can be quite soul destroying Sad

EBearhug · 06/12/2016 08:57

I hope you are all attaching baubles for the festive season.

I shaved mine at the weekend after a fortnight. This has turned out to be a literally rash move.

LotsoNumbers · 06/12/2016 09:05

Some years ago I worked on an archaeological dig with a woman who had hair on her forearms so long that it waved in the breeze. I had never seen that before. I thought it looked interesting and she was completely unselfconscious about it.

Mine is like that, I shave it off sometimes. Otherwise I'm not sure how long it would get. Just keep growing I suppose!

Agree with the bikini thing as well...mine is really soft so I keep it longer because I like it like that

catastrophic · 06/12/2016 09:12

I have three inch long pubes. I love stroking them.

I was once on an archaeological dig and there was a chick who used to meditate early in the morning on a mat outside of her tent. She wore very short shorts and had a fringe peeking out the leg holes. I was aghast.

ConferencePear · 06/12/2016 09:22

LotsoNumbers the hairs on the arms of the woman I'm talking about were two or three inches long. It didn't look unpleasant - just unusual.

loveulotslikejellytots · 06/12/2016 09:30

DH has affectionately nicknamed my pubes 'The Furchester Hotel' Grin I haven't tidied up down there since I had a c section with dd in January this year. A combination of not having time and not being arsed. It's never been this long before! DH doesn't care what's there so I might just leave it now, it's saved me a lot of time every few weeks.

My legs on the other hand really need doing, I might need to get the black and decker out of the shed for those bad boys!

NothingIsOK · 06/12/2016 09:40

Yay! Free the hairiness!

Very very pleased to find I am not alone in actively liking my body's hair. I refuse to dislike it. It's part of me.

Having always let it grow at every opportunity and removed with reluctance only when socially it really felt necessary, I'm now not removing at all. A full summer of bare legged and hairy armpit splendour and I'm none the worse for it socially. Hooray.

Maybe I just have a self selecting set of pals who don't give a shite, but nobody has recoiled in horror on the beach or the school run or anywhere else. I suppose there are people who thought or said yuk, but since I don't know it doesn't affect me. I'm freeeeeeee!

SemiNormal · 06/12/2016 16:39

My leg hair also kind of swishes about when I walk around bare-legged!
I'm very hairy, my mum said before 'Oh it can't be that bad' - she almost fainted when she saw my unshaven leg haha! I must admit though I do bow to pressure during summer months and wouldn't dare be brave enough to walk around bare-legged without having shaved/waxed before hand - I hate this about me.

AnneLovesGilbert · 06/12/2016 16:41

I'm feeling very left out. Never grown a single underarm hair. Not one. Does no one else here have naturally bald pits?

Jizzonmyface · 06/12/2016 16:52

Urgh. Body hair grosses me out, really knocks me sick. I can't even stand a days worth of regrowth

Kithulu · 06/12/2016 16:56

All you ladies who grow your leg hair in winter.....doesn't it kinda stick out if you wear tights?? When my leg stubble gets long I find it pokes out, so as much as I don't want to shave in winter I'm worried about wearing tights...

Budgiebonbon · 06/12/2016 16:59

I'm hoping that we are seeing a revolution & the return of hair.

I'm not particularly hairy, apart from the little rogue bastard on my chin mole, and shaving tends to aggravate the eczema on the front of my legs.

I've read there are loads of benefits to keeping it- all over. Team GB Women's cyclists were told to go au naturel due to physiological benefits.

I hate the 'Hairless/Clean - Hairy/Dirty' perception, Men are never deemed dirty if they are hairy.

alltiedupdownthere · 06/12/2016 17:01

I've namechanged just for this.

I'm pregnant and haven't so much as trimmed my pubes for months and months. I'm going to have to now because they've gotten so long that this morning the two sides of my fanjo pubes had knotted together.

I had to snip my pubes with nail scissors just to set my labia free.

Budgiebonbon · 06/12/2016 17:04

Kithulu Mine goes through phases, past the stubbly and you enter downy, which sort of lies flat. Opaque 60 Denier is your friend. Grin

mydietstartsmonday · 06/12/2016 17:05

As I have got older I don't get armpit hair at all....but pubes, a plait or chignon do you think... Have has a short back & sides for Christmas but will let grow in the NY.

SlottedSpoon · 06/12/2016 17:07

I was hoping for a photo Sad

SlottedSpoon · 06/12/2016 17:09

I'm the same mydiet always been the same. Leg hair non-existent on upper legs and pretty sparse on lower legs, pit hair very fine and sparse but the pubes OH GOD, THE PUBES.

queenofthemountains · 06/12/2016 17:10

I've been growing my leg hair since September, its about 1/2 inch long. I don't think it sticks out of tights but even if it did I don't care.

I wax my armpits every 3 weeks so they are about a cm long now.

I've never done anything with my pubes, I just can't be bothered.

Oldraver · 06/12/2016 17:21

Admission time...........I have never, ever shaved my underarms..though in y favour it is like bum fluff it grows out my chin instead

I don't shave my legs in winter either

TheSnorkMaidenReturns · 06/12/2016 17:22

I'm was pretty unhairy to start with. Now I'm post-menopausal I just don't get luxuriant hair anywhere anymore. I haven't shaved my legs since early September and there's only one hair sticking through by black tights. My armpits are wispy. My pubes are thinning out rapidly and very wispy. And going white.

Tsk tsk all your luxuriant hairy folk, you are making me feel old Xmas Envy.

Free the natural hair!

citybumpkin · 06/12/2016 17:27

Loving this thread! Grin I was once a perfectly manicured and hair free (yes everywhere) wonder. My DP would be horrified (yes horrified) if he felt the slightest amount of stubble on my legs or foof. He is now my ex DP and OMG the sense of relief. No longer is my stubble allowed to roam at will but it is positively encouraged by my new DP who believes that I should be as I wish. I gleefully looking forward to the winter months when I could put down the razor and be able to feel a week's worth of growth through my tights. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

Offred2 · 06/12/2016 17:29

I'm finding that the older I get the higher my stray pubic hairs seem to get! In my twenties a stray hair would be one that's towards the bottom of my stomach. As I approach forty the stray hairs are moving upwards so that they're nearing belly button level.

I think the day they reach belly button level is officially the day I enter middle age!

Tryingtobegood10 · 06/12/2016 17:32

I'v got Polycystic ovary syndrome so I'm hairy all over even had laser on my face which really helped for a while but is back to normal now! I'm REALLY single at the min so my legs have been left to do their own thing but do try to do every couple of weeks other wise it becomes a massive job my pubes have to go though as I hate that in between stage, nothing nice about a stubble fan lol thought I do love having a full bush, I'm also a stoker! Though i'v not had one since I was pregnant, I think I'm definitely gettjng to the age where I care much less about what other people think of me now thank god

citybumpkin · 06/12/2016 17:37

Offred2 yes re the navel gravitating hairs! It is satisfying to let them grow and then pluck them out.
