Yes, we're talking nipple hair and the odd stray boob hair. In fact my best longest darkest thickest one is miles away from my nipple. An inch long it is. Black. Like an eyebrow hair but longer. I've always freaked out about it in the past and plucked it, but i'm letting it grow just to see how long it can get. They benefits of singledom.

The thing I don't get about nipple hairs is that there's no slow growth. One day nothing, the next a full grown hair! How?

I haven't noticed that. I just can't quite believe how hairy my boobs are.

Clopy, yes, please let's do talk about boob hair - I'll feel more normal! I have to keep mine plucked - not just nipple hairs, but the little buggers that keep trying to sprout down the midline and give me a hairy chest.

While we're on the subject - does anybody else get random annoying pubic-type hairs growing at the base of their spine? Or should I start watching out for a tendency to rub my hands together and vomit on my food, a la "The Fly"?

BabySeamus, yes! And the same with chin hairs - one day nothing, next day great stiff bristle!

Ah, I've found my tribe. I am a very hairy person, I have hair on my hair.
I could start at one end of my body and by the time I was hair free at the other end I'd have to start again.
I do tryish to keep on top of my moustache and chin hair, but even resent doing that really. All other areas are left, and I didn't even have the good grace to be embarrassed when I found myself in a cheeky intimate situation last week.

My leg hair growth is pathetic in the winter - I think it's the result of having waxed for 25-odd years. Arm pit hair is fabulous though - I do wish DH would embrace my natural look a bit more - he's not really a fan sadly.

Some years ago I worked on an archaeological dig with a woman who had hair on her forearms so long that it waved in the breeze. I had never seen that before. I thought it looked interesting and she was completely unselfconscious about it.

Forearm hair on a woman is still socially acceptable in a way that armpits and legs aren't

I just hacked my armpit hair back for the first time since September. It was so long and thick there could have been whole insect colonies living and breeding there and I would have never noticed.

Apparently public lice are dying out as a result of the fashion for pube shaving :( Save the lice by letting your pubes grow wild and free!

AIBU to be jealous that you can grow these lustrous locks under there still, when mine doesnt really grow anymore? Wtf is that about anyway? I was once a proud glossy armpit mane cultivator, and now am reduced to the armpit equivalent of a balding donkeys arsehole.

I only need about 2 weeks and I have a full pit again. Although it seriously slows down after that so thats when I take real joy in any extra length. My max is a month and then I think hmm, should prob shave this while I can still get a razor through it!

I have just checked mine and despite growing since September it's pretty sparse.

However it is a lovely golden colour and about two inches long.

My leg hair is also golden but alas only about 3/4 inch long. No swishing.

Does anyone else get really long random hairs on their stomach on the pube approach? I do and they are BLACK. Not a single hair on my body is black apart from them
