Woke an hour ago, and still awake now.
4 year old ds wet his bed, so came in with us.
He has a cough, and is snuggled into my back, so everytime he coughs, his knees hit me.
Rather than getting stressed and panicked by the fact I have to be at the school early today to set up for the christmas fete, I've decided to just go with it.
So I'm mmetting, and listening to ds cough and dh snore.

Wish me luck!

Im enjoying the peace of having downstairs to myself which is a rare occurance.

The monitor for 2 year old DS's room is down here and the last few morning when I have gotten up early I have enjoyed listening to him to chat to himself as he wakes up. It's very cute. I'm waiting for that now, he's just coughed so I'm suspecting he will be awake soon.

The removal men are coming at 9.

Anyone fancy packing some boxes? I'll provide bacon sandwiches Grin

My DSM always says not to worry if you can't sleep cos at least you're resting. Sensible attitude I've always felt.

WeedlesHatOfDisappointment · 03/12/2016 06:36

Um sorry nanny, christmas fete and all that...Grin
How much more have you got to pack?

Say what I think
I will NOT have sex with a goat!

Wallywobbles · 03/12/2016 06:47

Should have read the rest before answering much more fun thread than I anticipated.

No sex with goats they like to per on their lady friends. And to get them in the mood they piss on their own heads. Eau de toilet literally. So people can think what the like.

Always say what I think - I think that's normal for me sadly. Sometimes I manage a modicum of tact.

Decided not to mind getting up early as DPs ready to sleep at 9.30 most nights anyway and I only need 6-7 hours really.

Would you rather have diarrhea or constipation.

WeedlesHatOfDisappointment · 03/12/2016 06:54

wally I'd rather have the shits. At least I'd be able to sit down, albeit on the toilet!

Would you rather eat chocolate flavoured shit or shit-flavoured chocolate?

Fabulous captain - smoked or unsmoked for your sandwich? Grin

Not masses, we've been staying at MIL's for a year and a half whilst our new house was fixed and decorated, builders and decorators have finally finished! So if we leave bits behind temporarily it's not the end of the world.

I've not touched our wardrobes because denial seems the way forward with that, our sofa needs to come apart ready to get it out the door, DS toys are still not packed, all the tv's, xboxes etc need unplugging and put back in boxes.
I need to finish taking stuff out of the drawers and cupboards because said drawers need to go in the removal van as too big for the car.

But instead of being proactive and getting on whilst DS is still in bed (he's 2, have you ever tried packing with a 2yr olds help? Don't do it is my advice) I'm messing around on mumsnet and eating cake. Priorities and all that.....

WeedlesHatOfDisappointment · 03/12/2016 07:40

Right, I'm getting my revenge on dh. I've told ds he is allowed to take one singing toy upstairs. He's chosen a christmas tree that lights up and sings 'rocking around the christmas tree' I'm giving it 10 more minutes and then sending ds up with it. Shall I report back? Grin
